Alfred R. Reynolds, also known as Al Reynolds, owned Old West Leather in Wickenburg, Arizona, where he worked by appointment only. In 2008 he was the subject of a Wickenburg Sun article by Patti Jares.
June’s USA bootmaker list, updated in May 2024, notes that he passed away in May 2020 and calls him an artist and a longtime friend. His birth year is not recorded.
Recognition
At the 2008 Cowboy Boot & Saddlemaker Round-Up in Wichita Falls, Reynolds won the Dress Boot category and the Professionals’ Choice award, and was runner-up in both the Working Cowboy Boot and Artistry categories.
