Biography
History
Tim Bishop runs a one-man shop, Bishop's Handmade Boots, near Tucumcari, New Mexico. True West's 2006 profile says word of his workmanship had spread since he started making boots in 1994. Bishop said he likes to see his boots about six months after finishing them, because they look better once they've been worn — a pair he makes for himself, he said, may sit in the closet until he wears it doing yard work just to get that broken-in look.
