Zephan Parker runs Parker Boot Co. in Houston, Texas. Cowboys & Indians (24 May 2024, from the magazine's July 2024 issue) describes him as a bootmaker whose team has made bespoke, handmade boots for a decade, with everything done in-house and a made-to-order line leaving what he calls "our little factory" in four to six weeks.
He apprenticed in Texas at Jass Boot Shop under Pablo Jass and at Kimmel Boot Company under Eddie Kimmel, then moved his family back to Houston and opened his own shop by advertising repair work and custom pairs. He grew up in the Houston area, with his mother's family tied to cattle country and his father in rock and roll.
