Blake Jones ran Jones Custom Boots, a one-man shop on U.S. 290 in Harper, Texas, profiled in Joe Nick Patoski's June 2002 Texas Monthly roundup of bootmakers. His specialty was round-toe boots, priced from $700 with a six-to-eight-month wait, and his customers were described as cowboys and tourists.

He is a different bootmaker from Ray Jones of Lampasas; the 2002 profile does not connect the two shops.
