Cutter Bill Western World
Named for Rex Cauble’s champion cutting horse, Cutter Bill Western World was the high-gloss Houston (1967) and Dallas destination store of the Urban Cowboy runway, with an aspirational catalog through the early 1970s–1985. Collectors meet Cutter Bill as provenance (“bought at Cutter Bill”), catalog dating for exotic fads, and cultural context — not as a bench maker. Pair any retail mark with the actual maker stamp when present. Stores collapsed after Cauble’s conviction; he died 2003.
