Earl Beck, with his twin brother Bearl, bought a boot shop in Dalhart, Texas, in 1916 and moved the business to Amarillo in 1921, founding what became Beck Boots. His son, Harry Beck, later ran and eventually sold the Amarillo shop.

History

Earl Beck was one of twin brothers who bought a boot shop in Dalhart, Texas, in 1916 and moved it to Amarillo in 1921, founding what became Beck Boots. His twin brother was Bearl Beck, who worked alongside him.

Earl's son Harry Beck later ran the business and eventually sold it. No birth or death year for Earl has surfaced.
