• Challenger is the named stock boot in collector literature: utilitarian shoulder leather, bold inlays, simple stitch patterns, square toes, double-thick soles, and Kirkendall heels.
• Diamond K or Bench Made are the named custom grades in the same literature.
• Marks. Photograph the interior brand. Peewee heights and star cutouts appear on mid-century survivors; those decorations are not a complete model atlas.
