J.B. Hill Boot Company

mid-1990s–present · El Paso, Texas

J.B. Hill occupies a different El Paso lane from Rocketbuster and Stallion: smaller-run custom and made-to-measure boots for riders and dress western clients in high-grade and exotic hides. James (Jim) Hill, a retired equine veterinarian, rebuilt the shop after an investor rescue commonly dated 1996. Texas Monthly’s June 2002 “Next 25 Bootmakers” listed the shop; American Cowboy treated it alongside Lucchese and Rocketbuster in El Paso’s living handmade tier.
