Black Jack Boots (Guerra)
Black Jack Boots was founded 1996 by Gerardo “Jerry” Guerra in El Paso after Lucchese plant-manager years. Family-run handmade exotic operation that scaled into national retail (Cavender’s from 1999; Pinto Ranch exclusives from ~2016). The name Black Jack is not unique in Texas — Maida’s Black Jack Boot Co. in Houston is a separate Sicilian-lineage bespoke shop (corporate Black Jack name 1983). If a listing says only “Black Jack” with no city, require city + construction + retailer provenance before attribution.
