Rodney Ammons (1948–2024) was an industrial craft master: he helped raise Lucchese output while learning fit and pattern near Sam Lucchese, founded Ammons Boot Company in El Paso in 1985, and from about 2010 led Tony Lama Signature Series at Justin Brands. Justin Brands gave him a Lifetime Achievement award in 2024; he died 30 Oct 2024.
