• Andrés Sendra, son of tanners near Valencia / a tannery family, spent years in the United States early in the 20th century, returned impressed by cowboy boots, and founded Sendra Boots in Almansa in 1913. Corbeto’s adds brother Vicente; some accounts place the return from the US in 1905 before the 1913 founding.
• Early product: molded / campero-style riding and cowboy boots.
• Goodyear-welt equipment arrived early (distributor pages cite 1915; Corbeto’s ties the leap to about 1919 after United Shoe Machinery Goodyear technology).
