After Nocona Boot Co. plant closure (~1999), Montague Boot Company launched ~2001 in Enid’s early brick building. On 1 Apr 2014 the James Fenoglio family bought Montague and renamed it Fenoglio Boot Company. Construction language: all-leather outsoles/insoles, stacked leather heels, wood pegs; custom + ready-to-wear. Separate family residency-since-1886 heritage claims from Fenoglio Boot Co. as a named manufacturer from the 2014 purchase. Do not assume every “Nocona, Texas” pair is Fenoglio.
