Macie Bean is the women's line of the Rios of Mercedes Family of Brands, launched in 2007. Its official About page says it was created “to establish and grow the ladies' area of business for the Family of Brands.” The name was the maiden name of Rios founder Trainor Evans's grandmother. The family history says it is built in Guanajuato, Mexico.

Macie Bean is the women's line of the Rios of Mercedes Family of Brands. It is a sibling of Anderson Bean, not an Anderson Bean sub-label, although retailers usually list it as “Macie Bean by Anderson Bean.” It comes in adult, youth and kids sizes.
The official family history says Macie Bean is built in Guanajuato, Mexico, while Anderson Bean is made in Mercedes, Texas. Sort a pair by the printed brand name and the M style prefix, not by its embroidered look alone.

Macie Bean's About page says the brand “was created in 2007 to establish and grow the ladies' area of business for the Family of Brands.” The Rios Family of Brands history also gives 2007 and says both Macie Bean and Horse Power “are built in Guanajuato, Mexico.”
The About page says the name “was the maiden name of Rios founder Trainor Evans' grandmother – Jode's great grandmother.” The family history credits Jode Vaughan, Chief of Design, with making Macie Bean “one of the first lines of fashion-forward cowboy boots created specifically for women by women.”
The family's own pages disagree on when Anderson Bean began (1985, 1987 and 1989 all appear), so that date is not locked here.
